As every year, the various representatives of VASANOC meet in the conference room of the VNPF in order to carry out the sports policy of the National Olympic Committee.
A general assembly is a meeting of the stakeholders of an association here, in this case, of VASANOC, to take stock of the operation of the latter but also to decide on the next actions to be taken.
Thus, the stakeholders were made up of the President, the Secretary General, the Treasurer, the CEO and the Sport Development Officer of VASANOC but also representatives of the National Federations and members of the board.
The latter therefore took stock of this year, marked by the COVID-19 crisis. They were able to approve the budget for the coming year as well as the annual plan for 2021.
They took stock of the national Teqball and Billiards federations, the latest to have joined VASANOC.
The Teqball federation is not a full member, they are recognized as a professional sport and will wait unitil next April and the approval from the members at the next AGM to be a full member of the VASANOC.
The Billiards one is not an Olympic sport as a consequence it is part of the Vanuatu Sports Association.
They will meet again during 2021 to see how all the measures and the policy evolved.
