It is official, today was signed in the offices of the mayor of Port-Vila, Erick Puyo-Festa, an agreement between the city of Port-Vila and VASANOC to organize a monthly sports pop-up.
Indeed, from this Friday February 26, 2021, the VASANOC will organize a sports pop-up at Feiyama park Seafront between 11 am and 2 pm. This event will be repeated every last Friday of the month with each month a different sport. For this month of February we have the honor to work with the National Tennis Federation.
The pop-up is open to everyone and aims to promote the practice of sport in Vanuatu and to show the sporting wealth that our country has.
The meeting with the Mayor was enriching and the two parties were able to discuss the practice and development of sport in Port-Vila but more generally in Vanuatu. They both agree that sport can play an important role in people's lives and that it is events such as these pop-ups that will allow sports less known to the public to become more famous. It will also encourage regular practice of sports.
See you this Friday February 26 at Feiyama park Seafront from 11am to enjoy the outdoors and have fun around sport.
